Assistant Technical Superintendent - Permanent - Tallinn - Competitive package

The Assistant Superintendent Engineer is to assist the Superintendent Engineer to provide engineering expertise and project management skills providing timely guidance and recommendation of solutions to technical matters.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensuring the full technical readiness of all KMS vessels

* Assist the Superintendent Engineer as directed in the control of technical budget for the maintenance and dry dockings, including monitoring of and control of the costs of repairs and maintenance.

* Assist the Superintendent Engineer as directed in the preparation, monitoring and control of repair and maintenance budgets.

* Assist the Superintendent Engineer as directed in the management, planning and coordination of maintenance, regular service periods, dry-docks.

Essential Qualifications

* Degree in Marine engineering. Previous seagoing experience as Second Engineer as extensive knowledge of ship engineering and operations is essential for this position.
* Knowledge of ISM/ISPS is a must
* Willingness to travel
* A team player and yet able to work independently
